A Penn Hills man was found guilty of several charges against him in an Allegheny County court room.
Friday, 77 year-old Joseph Campinelli was found guilty of charges including, but not limited to, multiple counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Indecent Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Endangering the Welfare of Children, Promoting Prostitution and Corruption of Minors, according to Allegheny County police
Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit launched an investigation in November of 2015 after three 13 year-old girls accused Campinelli of several crimes committed against them.
Police report that the investigation was ongoing for 2 months, until Campinelli was arrested and charged of 25 separate criminal counts in January 2016.
According to police, Campinelli’s prison sentence decision is scheduled for November 29 2016, and he is facing a minimum sentence of 30 years in prison.
