The National Parks Service will host a luminaria ceremony at the Flight 93 Memorial Saturday to mark the 15th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Forty candle lanterns will be carried to the Wall of Names and placed below the names of each of the passengers and crew members of Flight 93. The ceremony will from 7:30-9:00 p.m.
On Sunday, a September 11 observance will be held adjacent to the Visitor Center. The open air service will include brief remarks, special music, reading of the names of the forty passengers and crew members of Flight 93, and ringing of the Bells of Remembrance.
Both events are free and open to the public.
