A building in downtown Pittsburgh reopens today after being closed for a month due to a fire next door. The Allegheny Building officially reopened today at 7 a.m., per KDKA.
There was a 6 alarm fire in the former Macy’s building on June 30. This fire caused power outages and evacuations in the Allegheny Building.
Pittsburgh city officials approved a new fire pump on Monday of this week.
Law firms, insurance agencies, and restaurants occupy the Allegheny Building.
