Body found in 2003 identified

The Allegheny County Police Department announced they have identified a body found floating in the Allegheny River in 2003. The body was found near the Fox Chapel Yacht Club on October 24, 2003, but was unrecognizable due to decomposition. Thanks to advancement in technology, the body was identified through fingerprinting as Carolyn Roehlig, who was 66 at the time of her death.

Her death is now being investigated as a homicide. Police say they have questioned her son, Kevin Roehlig, and he may face charges.
