Brookline man dies after August shooting

A man who was shot in Pittsburgh’s Crafton Heights neighborhood in August has passed away.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said Domanek Cabbagestalk, 25, of Brookline, died Friday at Allegheny General Hospital, reports WPXI.

Police were called to the 1400 block of Steuben Street around 7:30 on August 31for a man shot.  He had gunshot wounds to his chest and leg.

Investigators believe Cabbagestalk was shot during an altercation at Woodlow Street and Cherry Court before he fled to Steuben Street.

The cause and manner of death is pending an autopsy.
