Emergency crews were called to Idlewild & Soak Zone in Ligonier when a 3-year-old was reportedly ejected from a roller coaster.

The incident happened while the boy was riding the Rollo Coaster with his brother. It happened on the last turn at the highest point, approximately 12 feet.
The child was conscious and airlifted to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
His family has asked that no additional information be released concerning his condition, reports KDKA.
A park official said the incident happened on the coaster’s middle section, but did not say how the boy fell from the ride.
The Rollo Coaster has been shut down. Ligonier Police and Westmoreland County detectives are investigating.
