Coroner rules fire death of woman accidental

The death of a Sharon woman found in a burning home was an accident, according to the Mercer County Coroner.

Sheryl Minto, 56, was found inside her home on the 200 block of Wilson Street around 4 p.m. Friday after a house fire.

Officials ruled her death accidental as a result of asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation, reports WFMJ.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.  The fire reportedly produced heavy smoke and a minimal amount of flames.
