When authorities arrived to a house to answer a request by a neighbor for a welfare check, they found a dead body, reports WPXI.
Allegheny County Office Communications Director Amie Downs says the neighbor placed the call anonymously to request the welfare check at an apartment on Pennridge Court. The call was made around 5:30 p.m.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
It is unknown if criminal activity was involved.
