Hoover’s body was found in a car parked against a tree in a neighboring township at 1 a.m. on May 26. Police initially thought Hoover had been injured and then killed after wrecking her car. This was disproved when Hoover sustained no physical injuries. A toxicology report was then immediately requested.
Allegheny Township police tell WTAE they are investigating the source of the drugs and say that person could still be charged.
