Owners offering reward for missing therapy pig

Owners are offering a $500 reward for the return of their pot-bellied pig. “Charlotte”, 8 months old, has been missing since July 11th. She is a therapy animal for an elderly rehab facility in Hopewell, Beaver County.

Katie Manni and Edward Perry obtained the pig in February. They told KDKA she went missing out of their car while at Beaver Elder Care and Rehab center, where Manni works. Perry didn’t realize Charlotte was missing until he stopped at a McDonald’s in North Fayette Township.

Manni explains to KDKA they don’t know how she got out of the car, “I don’t know if somebody just thought they were helping her out and opened the door, or thought she was cute and wanted to see her up close and she got out that way.”

If you see Charlotte, please call 724-914-0283 or 724-263-3621.
