A Pittsburgh elementary school was placed on lockdown Friday after shots were reportedly fired near the school.
Pittsburgh Manchester Elementary was on lockdown for approximately an hour. The lockdown was lifted just after 4 p.m.

WPXI reports that shots were fired around the corner from the school.
Police were also at a second scene at the intersection of Bidwell Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
No injuries have been reported, according to WPXI.
