Pittsburgh officer recognized for act of kindness

A story of an act of kindness was shared on Facebook after a Pittsburgh police bought lunch for a man sitting outside of a restaurant on the city’s South Side.

The post said the officer saw a man sitting on the sidewalk and took him to a nearby Popeye’s.  The officer invited the man inside and told him to select anything he wanted from the menu.

Another post said, “this officer bought this hungry man a meal today on the South Side, he spoke politely & with respect to him”.

The officer was praised for his service and kindness from the community.
