A trail of blood led police to a second victim of a shooting that occurred last night in Beltzhoover.
Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 200 block of Chalfont Street around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016, according to WPXI.
One man is in critical condition following the incident.
Pittsburgh’s Public Information Officer, Sonya Toler, told WPXI that the man needed surgery, and was taken to UPMC Presbyterian.
Police followed a trail of blood on the scene, to a house three blocks away from where the first victim was found.
“Police saw several people cleaning up blood and trying to force officers out. Once inside, police found another male victim in his fifties with a cut on the head. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition. ”
WPXI also reports, that authorities took a third man into custody for questioning.
The investigation is ongoing.
