A Pittsburgh police recruit was arrested Tuesday, accused of assaulting his wife. Jabbar Karwan said he was training to become an officer when he pointed a gun at her, handcuffed her and threatened her with his nightstick.
His wife told police not to arrest him, fearing it would make matters worse for her.
