Safety measures on Forbes Avenue to be discussed in a meeting this evening.
WTAE reports safety on Forbes Avenue has been a major concern following the crash that killed bicyclist Susan Hicks in October, 2015.
Carnegie Mellon University and the Oakland Transportation Management Association will both present safety plans for both motorists and pedestrians.
These plans are expected to cost more than $2 million and include updated signals and improvements to intersections.
The main area of focus is between Craig Street and Margaret Morrison Street.
This meeting will be in the Cohon University Center at 5 p.m.
