South Side shooting victim refusing to cooperate with police

A man is reportedly refusing to cooperate with the police investigation of a shooting Saturday morning.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of South 21st Street and East Carson Street on the South Side at approximately 2:05 a.m.

According to Pittsburgh Police, the victim is a 24-year-old male who had bullet wounds in his abdomen and left ankle.

Paramedics took him to UPMC Mercy and he is in stable condition.

No further details have been released.
