Steelers lose to Eagles

The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped to 0-2 in the pre-season after losing to the Eagles last night.

Landry Jones got the start in Pittsburgh’s second pre-season game. Ben Roethlisberger, as common with NFL starting quarterback’s during the pre-season, received a night off. Jones threw for 11 yards and 4 interceptions in the Steelers 17-0 loss to Philadelphia at Heinz Field.

One of Jones’ picks was returned for a defensive touchdown by Eagles cornerback Nolan Carroll.

Friday, August 26 is the Steelers next pre-season game. Pittsburgh will travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. and the game can be seen in the Pittsburgh area on KDKA-TV. As always throughout the pre-season, Bob Pompeani and former Steeler Charlie Batch will have the call.

The Steelers open the NFL’s 2016 regular season on ESPN’s Monday Night Football on the road against the Washington Redskins.
