The coroner identified the victim as Theresa Sager, 19. Sager was reportedly driving north on Herminie-West Newton Road at about 10:15 p.m. when she went off the right side of the road and hit a tree after she failed to negotiate a curve.
Sager’s pickup truck came to rest on its roof, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, reports WTAE. The coroner said the woman was not wearing a seat belt.
State police in Greensburg said speed appeared to be a contributing factor.
