Several townhomes are damaged after an intense fire in Penn Township early Wednesday morning.
WPXI learned three townhomes sustained serious fire damage and three others have smoke damage.
Firefighters were called to Trail Side Court of Walton Crossings Townhomes shortly after 2:30 a.m., according to Steven Fisher, a Channel 11 reporter at the scene.

Investigators are not sure what caused the fire, but believe it began on the second floor of one of the middle homes. One possibility to what started the fire is a propane tank that exploded and alerted a resident of the fire.
Eleven residents are now searching for a place to stay.
