Tractor-trailer crashes into PennDOT truck and other vehicles

A tractor-trailer crashed into 6 vehicles early Friday morning in Fayette County, reports WPXI. This accident resulted in only three people people being taken to the hospital.

Routes 31 and 982 in Bullskin Township was the scene of this crash.

Troopers at the scene told Channel 11 News the tractor-trailer was traveling down a hill on Route 31 when it collided with the other vehicles, including a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation truck.

Based on the amount of vehicles involved, it appears this accident could’ve been much worse, in terms of casualties.

One of the people taken to the hospital was the person driving the PennDOT truck.

It’s not yet know what triggered this crash.
