After a crash in Shade Township, Somerset County late Thursday night, two people are dead, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Shortly before 7 a.m., a driver of a Honda Civic lost control of his car on a wet road on Route 30 and crossed the center line, says WPXI. The passenger side of this vehicle struck the front of an oncoming car.

Melanie Wetzel, 25, of Sterling, Virginia, was the driver was the striking vehicle. Her passenger has not been identified yet. Both were killed.
The driver of the car they struck was a 16-year-old boy. He had two passengers with him, ages 48 and 17. These people were all taken to Conemaugh Hospital.
Their condition is currently not known.
