UPDATE: Police bring charges against one driver involved in Westinghouse bridge crash

A fatal car accident resulted in death for one man in East Pittsburgh Saturday morning after a vehicle crossed the center line.

According to WPXI, the accident occurred on Route 30 near the Westinghouse Bridge at 3:20 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016.

The medical examiner’s office said 44-year-old Olin Simpson, of McKeesport, was killed in the crash.

The other vehicle involved, contained two people who allegedly attempted to flee the scene.

Both of those people were taken into custody after being treated at the hospital for unknown injuries.

The driver of that vehicle was 28 year-old Kevin Anthony Paul of Stanton Heights.

Allegheny County police have charged Paul with homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence, and involuntary man-slaughter.
