Police knocked on the door of Chris Brown’s Tarzana mansion to serve him a search warrant, after a women claimed Brown threatened her with a gun.
NBC news reports that Los Angeles Police Department’s, Lieutenant Chris Ramierez, told reporters, “Mr. Brown is going to be transported where he will be arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.”
Police said that at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, a women reported that 27 year-old Brown, pointed a gun at her.
LAPD patrol cars later surround the mansion, and authorities pulled occupants of the residence aside for questioning, following a “protective sweep” search of the home.
Chris Brown posted videos and messages on his social media accounts from inside his home while police were outside.
Brown has been released after posting a $250,000 bail.
The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division continues the investigation.
