A SWAT team incident in the Homewood area Friday morning where a man was standing on the roof of a home ended peacefully for a domestic violence dispute, reports WPXI.
Officials say the situation at a home on Bennett Street started as a domestic incident between a man and a woman.
According to police, the woman left the home, but the man remained inside and refused to leave.
WTAE reports that the woman’s father said he had gone there to separate his daughter from her boyfriend when the man became very agitated and would not leave the home.

Police arrived at the home around 8 a.m.and the SWAT team was called to scene. The man was reportedly on the roof for two and a half hours, shouting at police.
The SWAT team would use a ladder to access the roof and take the man into custody.
The woman’s father told WTAE she was taken to a local hospital for unknown injuries.
Police have not said if any charges will be filed.
