Police arrested a man in connection to the shooting of a 6-year-old girl at a home in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood.

Officers found the girl, Isis, on the front porch of the home on Zara Street around 11 p.m. Sunday.  Several other adults were on the porch at the time of the shooting, but they were not hit.

Investigators said Isis is on a ventilator and struggling to survive after being hit by one bullet.

Kamau Thomas, Jr, 19, faces charges of attempted homicide, reckless endangerment and aggravated assault following his arrest Monday night.

Thomas did not realize he had shot the girl in the head until he saw it on Facebook, reports WPXI.
