Water main break causes flooding on Babcock Boulevard

A water main break floods parts of Babcock Boulevard in Ross Township Tuesday morning, reports WPXI.

The break in an 8 inch line near Hillcrest Drive caused the flooding.

Water started covering the road around 2 a.m.

One person, who was attempting to drive along the usually heavily populated road, explained the scene.

“It looked like Niagara Falls…I couldn’t believe how bad it was,” the car’s owner Fred white said.

Since water lines had to be turned off while crews were making repairs, citizens in the area are currently without water.

There’s no word on when water will be turned back on.
