He was in a manhole when he was run over in the 500 block of Evergreen Avenue when a co-worker drove over it with a dump truck. The co-worker apparently did not know the victim was in the man hole.
According to officials, the victim became attached to the dump truck and was lifted out of the man hole.
The Gulisek Company, which is based in Mount Pleasant, was performing the work on Evergreen Avenue. A work at the scene declined to comment on the incident, reports WPXI.
